From the Majors to the Bookshelf

Mark has spent his career not only studying and playing the game, but finding ways to explain it. His writing has appeared in Golf Digest USA, Golf Digest South Africa, and Compleat Golfer, where he has contributed instructional features and authored swing sequences featuring leading professionals and Major Champions. His “On the Mark” PGA TOUR podcast insights have also been featured in Golf Magazine.

Lessons From the Best

Mark’s most recent book, Lessons from the Best: Holistic Insights, Tips, and Tricks to Improve Your Golf, brings together insights from some of the game’s greatest players, instructors, and thinkers.
Featuring stars like Max Homa, Jordan Spieth, Collin Morikawa, and Viktor Hovland, alongside legends including Fred Couples, Nick Price, and Justin Leonard, the book goes beyond swing mechanics to explore the mental, strategic, and practical elements of better golf. Mark adds his own perspective throughout, helping golfers learn to think, prepare, and practice like their own coach and sports psychologist—with lessons designed to improve their game for a lifetime.

Earlier Works

Mark is also the author of two earlier eBooks exploring the game from a practical and holistic perspective. Scandalously Simple: The Easy Way to Accurate Golf Shots offers a straightforward approach to more consistent golf, while Golf Is a Game of Recovery examines one of the most important—and often overlooked—aspects of playing the game well. Both are available through Apple Books.
